This 123-unit, low income, apartment property renovation consists of eight two-story apartment buildings with one new Clubhouse. The site is approximately 7 acres and is located in Florida City, Florida.
The partially occupied apartments were operating from an existing clubhouse. The apartment renovations included selective demolition on interior and exteriors to allow for new interior and exterior finishes and equipment.
The project includes green initiatives developed by Green Communities Enterprises. Funding was provided from Neighborhood Stabilization Funds granted to Miami Dade County. The project was constructed in 4 sub-phases, each lasting approximately 2 ½ months, requiring temporary relocation of existing tenants. Overall duration of the project is 10 months.
