The University Club on Woodward Phase II Apartments is the second phase of a student housing project in Tallahassee, FL. The 496 bed, 252,745 square feet, student housing community project is situated on an 8.3 acre site.
The site development involved asbestos abatement and demolition of 15 apartment buildings. The site improvements consisted of water and sewer utilities that tie into existing public utilities, on-site storm drainage/retention utilities, modular block retaining walls, hardscaping, landscaping, irrigation, asphalt paving, and concrete sidewalks.
The development consists of nine 3-story townhome buildings, one single-story fitness center and community pool, and one single-story maintenance facility. The project is made up of a total of 124, 4-bedroom, 4- ½ bathroom apartment units; all units have attached entry patios.
The construction is wood frame with cementitious siding and brick veneer. Interior finishes consists of painted drywall walls and ceilings with a textured finish, and a mixture of carpet and vinyl flooring; all kitchen and bath areas feature wood cabinetry and trim with solid surface countertops.
