FaverGray Honors Women in Construction Week 2024

3/4/24

The significance of Women in Construction Week™, or WIC Week™, is underscored by its celebration and acknowledgment of women’s contributions in the construction industry. Initiated by NAWIC in 1998, WIC Week has steadily evolved, with local chapters organizing diverse events such as presentations to high school classes, job site tours, luncheons, and virtual gatherings. A comprehensive list of WIC events can be found on their website.

Although the gender ratio in construction remains higher for men, the gap is progressively narrowing each year. A growing number of women are actively participating in job sites and assuming leadership roles within the construction industry. WIC serves as a platform to spotlight women as integral contributors to the construction industry.

This Women in Construction Week, FaverGray takes pride in commemorating the occasion by introducing the remarkable, skilled, and accomplished women who are part of our team.
