FaverGray Unveils Jacksonville Beach Headquarters Expansion

FaverGray has unveiled a new expansion of its Jacksonville Beach headquarters, adding office space and a thoughtfully designed outdoor gathering area created to support the company’s growing team and collaborative culture. The expansion has been part of FaverGray’s long-term vision for its headquarters for several years. While continued headcount growth helped drive the need for additional space, the project also presented an opportunity to think intentionally about how the headquarters could better serve the FaverGray team now and in the years ahead. “As FaverGray continues to grow, we wanted our office to grow with us,” said Ben Hinson, President of FaverGray. “We were intentional about taking our time with this expansion and creating something that reflects who we are as a company. It gives our team more room to collaborate and connect while creating spaces where people genuinely want to spend time together.” Designed for Connection and Collaboration Designed by architect James Dupree in collaboration with Nesting Place Interiors, the expansion connects directly to FaverGray’s existing brick headquarters while bringing a fresh, modern feel to the Jacksonville Beach property. The 3,220-square-foot office expansion introduces a mix of private offices, collaborative areas, meeting spaces and employee gathering areas, along with a 1,865-square-foot outdoor courtyard and lounge. The experience begins at a white entry gate and signature FaverGray orange door featuring the company’s FG mark. Beyond the entrance, the outdoor courtyard serves as an extension of the office, with modern furnishings, landscaping and statement lighting creating a dedicated space for employees to gather. A large central island anchors the courtyard and provides a natural gathering point for company lunches, celebrations, employee events and FaverGray’s regular food truck days. “We wanted to create spaces for the big moments — company events, milestones and celebrations — but also for the everyday moments that really shape our culture,” Hinson said. “Sometimes that’s simply everyone stepping away from their desks on a Wednesday afternoon to grab lunch from a food truck and spend time together.” A Fresh Addition to FaverGray’s Jacksonville Beach Headquarters Inside, the expansion opens into an inviting employee lounge with modern, comfortable furnishings. A new conference room features a live-edge meeting table, contemporary seating and walls of windows that bring natural light into the space while reflecting the coastal setting of Jacksonville Beach. Offices are positioned throughout the expansion to encourage interaction and collaboration, while a kitchenette — complete with cold brew coffee on tap — provides another casual gathering point for the team. A rear stairwell connects the new space directly to the existing headquarters, allowing the expansion to function as a natural extension of the original office. The completed project represents FaverGray’s continued investment in Jacksonville Beach, where the company established its headquarters and has grown its business over the past two decades. “Jacksonville Beach is home for FaverGray,” Hinson said. “We’re proud of our roots here, and as we continue to grow, it’s important that we continue investing in the community and in the headquarters our team calls home.” Founded in 2005, FaverGray has grown from its Jacksonville roots into a general contractor licensed in 19 states. The company has delivered more than 20,000 residential units across 15 states and continues to expand its multifamily and student housing portfolio while building long-term relationships with clients across its growing footprint.

FaverGray Named a 2026 Best Place to Work by Jacksonville Business Journal

We’re excited to share that FaverGray has been named one of the Jacksonville Business Journal’s 2026 Best Places to Work! This recognition is especially meaningful because it’s based on feedback from our own employees and their experience working at FaverGray. For more than 20 years, FaverGray has called Jacksonville Beach home. A lot has changed since we started in 2005. Our team has grown, our projects have taken us into new markets, and we’ve welcomed new faces and new opportunities along the way. But one thing we’ve worked hard to maintain is the culture that has always been an important part of FaverGray. “Our people have always been the foundation of FaverGray,” said James A. Gray, CEO of FaverGray. “As we’ve grown, we’ve worked hard to maintain a culture where people enjoy coming to work, feel valued as part of the team and have opportunities to grow with the company. Being recognized as a Best Place to Work is especially meaningful because it comes from the feedback of our own employees.” More Than a Place to Work There’s a lot that goes into creating a great workplace, but some of the things we value most at FaverGray are pretty simple: working hard, enjoying the people you work with and making time to celebrate together. Throughout the year, we look for opportunities to get our team away from their desks and jobsites and spend time together. Our monthly food trucks at the Jacksonville Beach office have become something everyone looks forward to, along with holiday celebrations, team outings and other events throughout the year. Most recently, we invited employees and their families to spend an afternoon together at Beach Bowl for FaverGray Family Day. And next up, things are about to get competitive with one of our favorite annual traditions — the FaverGray Chili Cook-Off. These may seem like small things, but they’re an important part of what makes FaverGray feel like FaverGray. A New Space for Our Growing Team Earlier this year, we completed an expansion of our Jacksonville Beach headquarters with our team in mind. In addition to new office space, the expansion includes indoor and outdoor gathering areas that have quickly become a favorite place for team lunches, monthly food trucks, celebrations and company events. The new space gives our employees a place to step away from their desks, spend time together and celebrate the milestones that make working at FaverGray special. As our company continues to grow, we want our workplace to grow with it — not just in terms of physical space, but in the opportunities available to our people. Growing Careers at FaverGray We’re proud to have employees who have spent many years of their careers at FaverGray, and we’ve had the opportunity to watch team members take on new challenges, move into new positions and step into leadership roles as the company has grown. Creating those opportunities is an important part of where we’re headed next. “Growth is exciting, but what’s equally important to us is making sure FaverGray continues to be a place where people want to come to work and build their careers,” said Ben J. Hinson, President of FaverGray. “We want to give our team opportunities to grow professionally, but we also want to make time to get together, celebrate our successes and enjoy the people we work with. Our new office expansion is another investment in that culture and in creating a workplace our team can be proud of.” Proud to Be a Best Place to Work in Jacksonville Jacksonville Beach has been our home since the beginning, so being recognized by the Jacksonville Business Journal as one of the 2026 Best Places to Work in Jacksonville makes this one especially meaningful. We’re proud of the projects we build and the growth we’ve experienced over the years, but FaverGray wouldn’t be FaverGray without the people who come to work every day and make it all happen. So, this recognition belongs to our team. Thank you to everyone at FaverGray for making this a pretty great place to work. We’re proud of what we’ve built together — and we’re looking forward to plenty more food trucks, Chili Cook-Offs, Family Days and celebrations along the way.
